Tax Manager – Private Client & OMB Advisory

We are a specialist private client and owner-managed business advisory firm, working with entrepreneurs, families, trustees and high-net-worth individuals on complex, long-term planning. Our work is thoughtful, technical and personal, and we’re building a firm that reflects those same values internally.

We’re now looking for a Tax Manager to join us as we grow.

The Role

This is a predominantly advisory role focused on private client and OMB planning rather than compliance production. You’ll take ownership of client relationships and lead on bespoke planning across:

• Inheritance Tax and succession planning

• Trust planning and family wealth structuring

• Capital Gains Tax planning (including business exits and reorganisations)

• Residence and domicile planning

You’ll be trusted to manage your work, your clients, and your time like the professional you are.

Who This Role Is For

This role will suit someone who:

• Is technically strong in private client and OMB tax

• Enjoys advisory work, problem-solving and joined-up thinking

• Wants autonomy, trust, and intellectual challenge

• Is comfortable dealing directly with clients and other advisers

• Values professionalism, kindness, and clarity

Skills & Experience

• ATT and/or CTA qualified (required)

• STEP qualified or studying (desirable)

• Strong experience in private client tax advisory

• Comfortable advising on IHT, trusts, CGT and residence issues

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in report writing and managing client experience
